One of my favorite times of the year is Oscar Night. A girlfriend is kind enough to host every year, cooking up fancy nibbles to eat with sparkling wine.  We dress in comfy clothes, maybe adding a sparkly bracelet or necklace to feel movie-star-esque. I bring my own Oscar chair: a bright red bean bag so I can sit as close to the red carpet as possible.

This year, I plan to bring more than a bottle of bubbles.  I made some chicken wings for a Super Bowl party that were so delish with a dash of gourmet, they could pass for Oscar cuisine. The best part they are EASY and pair perfectly with bubbles! Marinating the chicken wings in pepper oil is the secret kick.  Brushing them with pesto is the glam. MMMM!
